It costs nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive without
impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash, and the memory of
it sometimes lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it,
and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill
in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote
for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something that is no earthly good to anyone
until it is given away.
And if in the course of the day some of your friends
should be too tired to give you a smile, why don’t
you give them one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have
none left to give!

Now, wear a thinking cap and say more with less…
Topic: Can Machines Ever Have Souls??
Just An Insight:
The religious will argue that a soul is something unique to mankind; imbued by whichever creator their faith believes in, making it impossible for machines to ever have soul.
The atheists will argue that there’s no such thing as a “soul”, only sentience and/or self-awareness.
Others will meander aimlessly between the two!!

Dad used to say, “Life is a Drama.. Everyone performs his/her Role and Goes off the stage.. Just perform your role that you have got from the Dramatist and leave the rest.. ” as Shakespeare had also elaborated this in his “some” play… And that thing got fixed in my mind at the very early stage of my life..
During my play I met many other players from whom I learnt many things to carry on the play.. Today my friend Debo just gave me some note that she had got from her friend in Hyderabad.. and after reading the content I thought why shouldn’t I share this with the other players to perform well on this life stage?!!
Here is the Content:

- I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.
- Art consists of limitation. The most beautiful part of every picture is the frame.
- Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one’s own person is its ultimate reward.
- The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking.

A glass, half filled with water can be perceived as half full or half empty or you can just change the size of the glass to make it completely filled or “less than half filled”.
It’s all about your perception… how you take the situation at that point of time!!

Intranet says, “Good and appropriate reward & recognition does not happen by accident. It will not have the desired motivational effect and deliver business success, unless it is planned and managed well. The recognition should be event oriented and used for rewarding specific accomplishments, rather than reflecting sustained performance. ACE award was the first step in this direction.”
And Yes… our Team won that ACE Award for the 2nd Quarter of 2008… for performing exceptionally well in the BSNL projects. Our Honorable M.D. Mr. Mats Granryd presented the awards in Gurgaon office today… Thanks and Heartiest Congratulations to all of my seniors and colleagues for this special achievement.
After all, Technology is a group activity.
Again, I was not available there…

I have got a strange habit of doing the work and then forgetting about that. When somebody asks me “how did you do that?”, I wonder I take too much time in recapitulating the whole process again. Actually I tend to delete it all from my memory after the work is over. I prefer to keep that valuable memory space spare for storing only beautiful moments of life…
And I take utmost care that my head circuit doesn’t break because of some unwanted external agent. I keep with me only the least no. of things important for sustaining life.
So, in this way my life account remains full of glorious moments that can be used anytime anywhere on need basis
.

You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world’s happiness now. How?
By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged. Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime.
